How the Storage Hunters: Open World Calculator works
The calculator starts with the selected item's raw base value, applies the current community-documented markup and mutation multiplier, then uses the item's dynamic floor and condition percentage to estimate the final sell price. Grade is currently set to No Grade at 1.0x.
Best times to use it
- Before bidding on a locker with one or two visible high-value items.
- Before selling an item with Gold, Diamond, Gem, Void, Secret or stacked mutations.
- When condition is low and you need to know how much value survives the dynamic floor.
Storage Hunters: Open World Calculator FAQ
Does the Storage Hunters: Open World Calculator use raw item values?
Yes. The calculator uses the raw base value from the item list, then applies the community-documented markup, selected mutation multipliers, the dynamic condition floor and No Grade at 1.0x.
When should I use the Storage Hunters: Open World Calculator?
Use it before bidding on a locker, carrying a bulky item, selling a mutated item, or checking a trade. It is most useful when condition and mutations make the price hard to judge from memory.
Do mutations stack additively in this calculator?
No. The current calculator model treats multiple selected mutations as multiplicative (M1 × M2 × M3), based on community notes and player testing.
What is Low Value Markup and how does it work?
Low Value Markup is the community name for the value boost seen on lower base-value items. In the current model, a $1 item can receive a 25x markup, while items closer to $100 gradually drop toward 1x.
